Entered the Miss Hong Kong Beauty Pageant in 199? and was the hot favourite to win. However, the media reported that she had plastic surgery on her chin, so she had to withdraw from the contest. Her good looks was not to be wasted as film director Wong Jing later gave her some meaty roles. Soon, she became one of HK's biggest female actors, and was even going out with Wong Jing. However, the relationship didn't last long, and she was also being courted by other wealthy men.

She is now married to a wealthy businessman, and retired from the showbiz industry.
